How much and how often should you take this medicine?
For the symptomatic treatment of
urinary obstructioncaused by benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH): The starting dose for all patients is 1mg at night-time for 7 days and should not be exceeded during the first week of treatment. The dose can be increased to 2mg daily for 14 days, followed by 5mg daily for 7 days. the usual recommended dose is 5mg once a day. The maximum daily dose is 10mg.
