In celebration of its 23rd anniversary and in line with its advocacy “Gusto Namin Gumaling Kayo,” RiteMED, in partnership with its brand ambassador Coco Martin, spearheaded a medical mission at Diosdado P. Macapagal Elementary School, Brgy. Tatalon, Quezon City.
The event gathered almost 600 beneficiaries, composed mainly of senior citizens from Brgy. Tatalon and neighboring communities, along with elementary school students, teachers, staff, and barangay functionaries. The medical mission served as a meaningful gift of care and wellness to the community, particularly to its most vulnerable members.
Bringing Healthcare Closer to the Community
The initiative was made possible through the joint efforts of RiteMED employees, Unilab External Affairs, the Quezon City local government, and Barangay Tatalon officials. Doctors from the Philippine College of Occupational Medicine volunteered their expertise to provide general consultations and pediatric check-ups.
Beyond consultations, RiteMED also provided free medicines, maintenance drugs, and vitamins to support the ongoing health and wellness of beneficiaries. These provisions highlighted the company’s commitment to helping patients not only during the medical mission but also in their continued journey toward recovery and better health.
The LGU also conducted a risk assessment in relation to the DOH PhilHealth YAKAP Program, further strengthening the program’s holistic approach to community health.
Coco Martin and Tropa ni Tanggol Bring Joy and Hope
True to his promise of being more than just a face for the brand, Coco Martin personally joined the celebration, warmly greeting senior citizens and sharing meaningful moments with them. He was also joined by Tropa ni Tanggol, whose presence brought smiles, laughter, and energy that made the program more engaging and memorable.
Coco also took the opportunity to remind the community about the importance of taking the right medicine—one that is not only affordable but also guaranteed to be of high quality. He emphasized that this is exactly what RiteMED stands for, and why its advocacy, “Gusto Namin Gumaling Kayo,” is more than just a campaign line—it’s a commitment to every Filipino household.
A Testament to RiteMED’s Commitment
This mega medical mission is just one of the many ways RiteMED continues to live out its advocacy as it marks more than two decades of serving Filipinos. By ensuring access to affordable and high-quality medicines and by supporting programs that directly touch lives, RiteMED reaffirms its role as a trusted partner in health and healing.
As the company looks forward to more years of service, its mission remains clear: to be the dominant generic brand and the preferred partner of Filipinos for their medicine needs—because RiteMED truly wants every Filipino to get well.
